Little Owls St Budeaux - NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR SEPTEMBER!

We are truly excited to welcome little children - including babies - into the exceptional space that is Little Owls, Victoria Road. Designed and built specifically as a pre-school it offers children the most amazing early years education. From the footsteps on the floor to the indoor climbing castle it has been created especially for children, providing them with unique and distinctive spaces to stimulate learning and play.

The pre-school is made up of a series of connecting rooms which can be used for different learning environments, depending on the age group of the children, or they can be opened up for one great big free-flow. The pre-school also has a dedicated baby area with its own changing room and kitchen.

Each of these spaces has its own special area in the garden. And the garden! It is a paradise of play with living willow structures; a mud kitchen and enough kid’s tractors and diggers for children to start their own construction company!

It is rare that pre-school children get to inhabit a space designed especially for them.

Little Owls Mannamead - NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR SEPTEMBER!

We’ve got a large hall, an outdoor classroom and a great big garden. It’s no wonder our children love putting on their wet-weather gear and going outside to play! As well as being big enough for a game of football it’s also flat, grassy and secure. We also have a beautiful outdoor classroom that we have transformed (with the help of funding from the Postcode Lottery, the Big Lottery Fund and the Co-op) into a sensory/chill-out room.  Our primary learning space is big enough to accommodate distinctive learning areas for children of different ages or can be set up as one great big play area!

What we do:

We are committed to working with each child on their education and their well-being to ensure they have the best time and the best education within a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Each child has their own Key Worker. All staff are qualified to NVQ level 2 and above and attend regular training sessions to ensure they are up-to-date and well-informed with current policies and practices.

At Little Owls, we aim to advance the education of pre-school children under the statutory school age and enhance their development and welfare by providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment.

Little Owls offers the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework leading to nationally-approved early learning goals. We recognise that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. We offer a friendly, caring, creative and enjoyable environment for your children to develop, learn and play.

Online Learning Journeys

We use the Tapestry online learning journey to capture each child's experiences as well as to monitor development and learning. This unique journal is shared online with parents, who are able to see special moments and view their child's progress. For more information, visit http://tapestry.info.
